Singer Pranysqa Mishra from America’s Got Talent 2024 is practicing for the AGT live shows that are scheduled to air in the middle of August.
Outside of AGT, Mishra is best known for her numerous appearances at various sporting events where she sings the national anthem. As noted by her YouTube page, one of Mishra’s earliest recorded performances of her singing “Star-Spangled Banner” was at the NCAA Men & Women’s Basketball in New York back in February 2021.
Since then, she has performed the national anthem at an NBA game with the Miami Heat, an NHL game with the Florida Panthers, and the opening ceremonies for the 2023 U.S. Open Tennis Championships. Even actor Danny Davito was impressed at the ceremonies, giving her a standing ovation.
According to several posts on her Instagram account, she accredits her powerful vocals to her coach, Sharmayne Thomas, who goes by @confidentvoiceacademy on the platform. In Mishra’s short interview during the AGT audition, she also credits her grandmother as a source of inspiration, which is why Mishra called her right after the audition was over.
